Our innovative Solution Focused Coaching in Schools (SFCiS) CPD programme will build your school’s capacity to provide early help to children and young people with additional needs in areas such as emotionally based school avoidance and unwanted behaviour, delivering improvements in attendance and attainment. SFCiS is an unique evidence-based future-oriented approach to strengthening the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people which underpins their success at school.

Our Solution Focused Coaching in Social Care (SFCiSC) programme enables wellbeing workers to use this unique approach to strengthening the physical and mental health and wellbeing of service users. By empowering people to build on their existing successes, strengths and resources they can rapidly move towards achieving their best hopes for a better life.

This is a bespoke service for people who experience challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties.

We can provide 1-2-1 personalised sessions for anyone needing to change from negative patterns to a more positive and fulfilling life.

I’ve often been asked to work with a child in school when the adults around them have tried everything they can think of without success and everyone feels stuck. It might seem like I’m walking into a hopeless situation, skilled professionals using what’s available; rewards and punishments and kindness and understanding. And still the child refuses or fights, isn’t coming into school or doesn’t stay in class when they’re there.

Sometimes children can seem so mysterious, separate, impossible to know, even harder to help. Even to ourselves as children. As adults working with children, whatever our role, we do our best to be present and support them, at the same time as granting them the freedom to discover themselves in their world, without running into danger.
